Organising the AIOS Elections 2023 was a very enriching experience for us. Your cooperation has helped AIOS achieve the highest ever votes casted for the General Elections (13119). This is testimony enough for the fairness of the process and the 2 crucial points on which such mass participation occurs is 1) the wonderful collegiality 2) the online voting process in which members can vote in the privacy of their home smoothly. I congratulate all the winners and for others this was definitely a great experience going through the length and breath of AIOS during campaign. The beauty lies in contesting the elections fairly rather than winning it.

By double authentication 1. From your unique email registered with AIOS and 2) your unique mobile registered with AIOS so two OTP’s were sent to which no one can access.
Not more than 4 votes per IP address was allowed during the 7 days of voting to prevent mass influential voting.
Another new attractive feature was voter selfie this year.

The entire voting process being carried out by STQC certified vendor.
We had the choice of choosing the largest vendor NSDL but since they did not have the double authentication and relied on the protected email only we chose to be with Right2Vote.
Election Results were declared at the General Body Meeting held on 13 May 2023. There were no complaints from any members and the contestants regarding the election procedure.
