Purpose of the current effort was to sit together and evolve minimum common consensus amongst the Paediatric Ophthalmologists on "Prescription of glasses and Amblyopia management in children" and frame the guidelines for the benefit of both the Paediatric Ophthalmologists and General Ophthalmologists. This would enhance their awareness on the early detection and appropriate institution of therapy, so that finally we are able to restore the vision of children with low vision and get them back on track of normal visual and overall development.
