GUIDELINES
1. The applicant, i.e. Chairman Organising Committee or Organising Secretary should be a Life Member of the All India Ophthalmological Society for more than 5 years. Chairman ARC with the help of the ARC Zonal Members shall choose the venue of the program. In case of multiple applicants in a zone , the ARC will evaluate the applications and allot it to a particular city or town and the discretion of the allotment shall be totally with the Chairman ARC and ARC Zonal Members.

2. The Proposal from the Organising Secretary of the program should reach the Chairman ARC Office directly through the registering link in the mailer or from the website.

3. The program should be conducted under the aegis of a Affiliated State Society / Affiliated Society having a pan card and the Organising Secretary of the program should be in constant touch with the Office bearers of the Society and also with the Managing Committee members, AIOS (of that particular State) for smooth conduction of the program.

4. The Financial Assistance shall be sanctioned by Chairman ARC of Rs 1,00,000/- towards the program. This amount would be transferred to the Organising Secretary who will be conducting the "BATTLING RETINAL DISORDERS BY COMPREHENSIVE
OPHTHALMOLOGISTS"
. The State Society/ Affiliated Society should give a letter of no objection so that the transfer of funds can be made from ARC office to the Organising Secretary directly.

5. The travel expenses of the Guest Speaker will be borne by ARC, apart from the financial grant of Rs 1,00,000/ for the program.The accommodation and local hospitality of the ARC Guest Speaker has to be borne by the host . Speakers for the session should be preferably from the same zone and to be decided in close coordination with the Organising Secretary, State Society / Affiliated Society, ARC Zonal Member and Chairman, ARC.

6. The accounts shall be submitted to the Chairman ARC by the Organising Secretary within a month of the program, but in any case within the same financial year in which the grant is released. After submission of the accounts and scrutiny, the financial assistance shall be released.

7. A Report of this program with photographs shall be sent by the Organising Secretary to the ARC Zonal Member and Chairman, ARC within one month of the program.
